Job Overview:
We are looking for AI Integration Engineers to support a large-scale integration initiative
involving approximately 300 API integrations using MCP (Model Context Protocol). The project
focuses on enabling AI chatbots to interact seamlessly with multiple backend systems and APIs
through a standardized integration framework.
This role sits at the intersection of API engineering, AI chatbot integration, and system
interoperability. While familiarity with AI/ML concepts is helpful, this is not a core ML model-
building role. The primary emphasis is on API integration, protocols, and chatbot enablement.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement API integrations using REST standards to support AI chatbot interactions.
- Work with Model Context Protocol (MCP) to enable structured communication between AI chatbots and backend services.
- Integrate AI chatbots with multiple enterprise systems and external APIs through MCP servers.
- Develop and maintain scalable integration workflows supporting high-volume, multi- system integrations.
- Collaborate closely with US-based engineers and leads to communicate progress, explain implementations, and support client-facing discussions.
- Ensure integrations are secure, reliable, and compliant with enterprise standards.
- Participate in design discussions to standardize integration patterns and reusable components.
- Troubleshoot integration issues and optimize API performance and reliability.
- Maintain clear technical documentation for integrations, APIs, and chatbot workflows.
- Demonstrate strong ownership, ethical practices, and commitment to delivery timelines
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, API standards, and integration best practices.
- Experience working with API-driven architectures and backend service integrations.
- Familiarity with AI chatbot integrations and conversational system workflows.
- Working knowledge or exposure to MCP (Model Context Protocol) or similar integration protocols (preferred, not mandatory).
- Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts (no requirement to build or train ML models).
- Experience with JSON, HTTP methods, authentication mechanisms, and API security.
- Ability to work collaboratively in distributed teams across geographies.
- Strong communication skills to explain technical work to US-based leads and stakeholders.
- Willingness to work with partial overlap in US time zone
